I had a right total hip replacement done by Mr Middleton in April 2018 at St Michael's Hospital, Hayle. I saw him for a first year review and again recently for my 5 year review, and all is going well. Mr Middleton has been so pleasant and easy to talk to, and I can't thank him enough for this surgery and the after care. The care I received at St Michael's was also exemplary, and I thoroughly recommend this hospital and all the staff who are so caring.

Referred to Mr Middleton by GP regarding hip pain. After examining me and questioning me generally about my discomfort, he explained thoroughly about what the cause might be. He was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to, and suggested that I should be added to the waiting list for bilateral intraarticular injections as a day case, followed by a review with him approximately six weeks later. I have total confidence in him and am very happy to follow his recommendation. The preceding height/weight measurements and nose swab were taken by a delightful and competent young nurse.

My third visit with mr Middleton in just over 2 years , as always very helpful with advice and medical details , very easy to communicate with in a language that is easy to understand , the consultation’s are very relaxed thank you again for your help and support , looking forward to speaking to you in the future

I consider Mr. Rory Middleton a truly outstanding person as well as a very competent specialist. I have had two knee replacements both carried out by Mr. Middleton at St. Michael's hospital. Mr. Middleton's after surgery attention was excellent. I cannot speak highly enough of him.

Dear Mr. Middleton, May I thank you for your consideration and the concise information which you gave me at my consultation. You made me feel comfortable and perfectly at ease, and it was great to see the X-rays of my hip replacements in situ as it were. Having received such a positive outcome, i.e. surgery is not necessary, I feel confident that I can carry on teaching tap dance to my small group, (at least for the time being), to help balance, strengthen muscles and keep the old grey matter working by remembering routines. I feel that one needs re-assurance from an expert such as yourself and the fact that I can telephone your secretary if my situation worsens is fantastic. Thank you very much.
